My heart broke so hard for Kurt in this scene, well for both of them, but mostly for Kurt. You know he wants to slow dance with Blaine so bad but he won’t ask because he doesn’t want to put Blaine on the spot so he just comments and hints at it, but doesn’t pressure. And you can see Blaine wants to ask but he just can’t. I can practically hear him mentally beating himself up over it because he knows how much it would mean to Kurt if he did, but he can’t get past this fear that’s got him just standing there stiffly not even looking at Kurt because he knows it’ll break his heart to see Kurt just waiting for him to make a move. It’s one of those moments I’ve felt personally where you hear this song and you want to go over and ask this person to dance but by the time you work yourself up to it the song is over and you’ve missed your chance - but of course Blaine got another chance later and when it mattered most he was able to break free of that numbing fear and step up for Kurt.
